Edward and Alberta are a couple from the United States, that flew all the way from the United States to Cape Town, South Africa with a group of 18 friends to do just that!
The hosts (our lovely clients) are never shy to admit that Cape Town is their favourite holiday destination. To help them celebrate in style we hired two villas’ in Camps Bay and created a 5-day itinerary for them and their guests to fully experience Cape Town.
On the day of their arrival, we took them to Signal Hill for cocktails whilst they watched the sunset followed by dinner at Pot Luck Club.
The following day, our team arranged for them to spend a relaxing day at Cape Point and Boulders Beach followed by lunch at Harbour House in Kalk Bay. Guests then spent the afternoon at leisure, browsing through Kalk Bay’s many small shops before a luxurious dinner at Moyo.
On Saturday, we planned for them to go up Table Mountain with their very own private guide, but unfortunately, the weather wasn’t playing nice. Instead, they enjoyed their day at leisure before we took them to the V&A Waterfront for some shopping and a sunset cruise on a private yacht.
That evening, as guests arrived on a gorgeous evening at their Villa, they were greeted with the sounds and smells of a very traditional South African affair – a Braai! More than just a list of food items, a braai is an important South African ritual, where friends and families come together to relax, celebrate, and socialise. What could be more fitting for celebrating a milestone birthday?
On Sunday, guests spent the day basking on Clifton Beach, a truly magical fun day of sun and sea. That evening, we had the official birthday celebration party at one of the villas. This celebration was filled with delectable cuisine – canapes followed by a three-course plated dinner; gorgeous flowers and décor; the best Western Cape wines; and a DJ that kept the guests dancing.
On their last day, we left them to recover from the party festivities the night before. For the finale dinner, we arranged an exclusive dinner for them at Tintswalo Atlantic. It was a truly magical way to end off a week’s worth of festivities.
