This year, we booked guests into the sensational Leeu Estate and Le Quartier Francais. The Leeu Collection prides itself on providing a unique guest experience with the most exquisite finishes and incredible hospitality. Guests were flown into Cape Town International airport and Volvo shuttles transferred them to the estate in Franschhoek. Once settled in, we transported guests to the brainchild of well-known local chef Reuben Riffel – Reubens Restaurant where guests enjoyed a 3-course lunch.
From there, guests jumped onto the Wine Tram and explored some of the Franschhoek Winelands. That evening, guests donned themselves in their best dresses and suits for the prestigious Awards Dinner. On arrival, guests were met with a wine tasting of the Mullineux wines – a family winery located at the Estate – underneath a canopy of fairy lights amongst vintage furniture. A black carpet lead guests inside the glass marquee where mirror topped tables were adorned with dark, moody florals in gold vases, black candles, cut crystal glassware, and black cutlery.
Before the welcome by the MC, guests were treated to a performance by fire dancers, after which guests were seated for dinner. The 3-course menu was meticulously designed by Oliver of the Annalize Catering team. During dinner, guests were entertained by The Blaze Band performing old favourites and covers of modern music.
After dessert, a strength acrobatic duo act performed a breath-taking performance and had guests glued to the stage. Following the performance, the awards were presented which involved awards for the most improved dealerships, the best after-sales dealership, top sales and of course the Dealer of the Year Award.
After the event, guests were transferred back to their rooms where I’m sure they had one of the best nights sleep in the lap of luxury!
