Volvo’s Dealer of the Year Awards: An Unforgettable Experience
Once a year, Volvo South Africa hosts its prestigious Dealer of the Year Awards. This event celebrates and honors their top dealers’ achievements. It isn’t just an awards dinner; it’s a unique one-night luxury experience for all guests.
A Day of Luxury and Exploration
This year, we booked guests into the sensational Leeu Estate and Le Quartier Français in Franschhoek. The Leeu Collection is famous for its unique guest experience, exquisite finishes, and incredible hospitality. Volvo shuttles transferred guests from Cape Town International Airport to the estate.
Upon settling in, we took guests to Reuben’s Restaurant for a three-course lunch. After that, they boarded the Wine Tram to explore the beautiful Franschhoek Winelands. This gave guests a taste of the region’s famous offerings.
The Gala Event: An Evening of Elegance
That evening, guests dressed in their best formal wear for the prestigious awards dinner. We set the scene with a wine tasting of Mullineux wines under a canopy of fairy lights. A black carpet led guests into a glass marquee. Inside, tables were decorated with dark, moody florals, black candles, and elegant glassware.
Before dinner, fire dancers performed a captivating show. The three-course meal, designed by Oliver of Annalize Catering, was a culinary delight. During dinner, The Blaze Band entertained guests with a mix of old favorites and modern music.
Following dessert, a strength acrobatic duo captivated the audience with a breathtaking performance. The awards ceremony followed, honoring achievements like most improved dealership, best after-sales, top sales, and the top honor of Dealer of the Year.
After the event, guests were transferred back to their rooms. They surely had a fantastic night’s sleep in the lap of luxury, capping off an unforgettable experience.
